What are YOUR views on the future of rural South Lanarkshire?South Lanarkshire Rural Partnership is currently developing an action plan for the next 6 years with the intention of making rural South Lanarkshire one of the best places to live, work and visit in  Scotland. What changes do YOU want to see in rural South Lanarkshire? The partnership have devised a draft strategy which aims to “develop a sustainable approach to regeneration, improve the quality of life for local communities, address problems of rural disadvantage, as well as safeguarding and enhancing the area’s rich cultural, historic and natural heritage”. The Partnership is seeking feedback from the public to ensure the Integrated Rural Development Strategy is addressing the issues most important to the residents in the area.
