Nemphlar Village
Nemphlar lies between the Clyde and Mouse rivers and the Lee Estate, about two miles West North West of Lanark. Today it consists of just over 50 households scattered in a farmland setting among the settlements of East, Mid and West Nemphlar, Knowtop and Halltown.

Village Hall
There is a well used community hall used for community events, by local societies and clubs and for private functions. For example the community barbeque held last summer.
Garden Trail
Over the years a selection of gardens have opened as the Nemphlar Garden Trail as part of the Scotland Garden Scheme.

Views and Walks
A big attraction of the village are the extensive views to the hills above the Clyde including Tinto and an excellent view of Lanark itself. There are many local walks and there is direct access to the Clyde Walkway.
