WALKING in and around LANARK
Do you enjoy a walk? Lanark Loch (less than a mile from the town centre) is wonderful for a summer picnic and is a perfect all season venue for a stroll to walk off the Sunday lunch.
Castlebank Park and Delves Park are two pretty parks that are near the centre of town and easily accessible to all residents. These are perfect for a wee stroll. But what if you're feeling a wee bit more adventurous?
Why not visit New Lanark and explore the Falls of Clyde Walkway? Stunning anytime of year, whatever the weather.

Lanark Golf Club is not just for men, it has a well supported ladies and junior membership , for girls and boys, which suits this writer down to the ground: almost all the family are interested which frees up time for me!
